The Manager
The Brunel Sinfonia’s manager is Justin Hayward.
Justin has extensive experience as an orchestral horn player in a wide variety of ensembles. He played extensively while studying at Nottinghsam university, in addition to stints as Vice President and Musical Director for the Gilbert & Sullivan Society and as joint conductor of the Nottingham University Sinfonia for the 2000-2001 season. Moving to Southampton in 2001, Justin took up the post of Assistant Conductor for the Southampton University Concert band, becoming the band’s Principal Conductor in September 2002 whilst also playing an active part in the Southampton University Symphony Orhcestra, and later the Winchester Symphony Orchestra. Having moved to the Bristol area, and joining the Brunel Sinfonia in 2008, Justin now plays regularly with many local orchestras, including the Keynsham Orchestra, Long Ashton Orchestra while also acting as co-conductor of the Bristol Millenium Orchestra. Justin works as an engineer, specialising in optical and electronic systems.
