The Brunel Sinfonia's manager and co-founder is Dave Sherwin.

Dave was born in 1981 and, on moving to Bristol from Oxford in 2004, established the Brunel Sinfonia along with Tom. Dave has previously been a member of the National Youth Orchestra, the Oxford University Orchestra, the Oxford Millennium Orchestra and the National Schools' Symphony Orchestra, but has has always thought of music as a fun hobby, and it is in that spirit that the Brunel Sinfonia was founded. Dave has become increasingly active as an orchestral fixer in Bristol, and has recently fixed orchestras for Channel 4 and the BBC. Away from music, Dave has won 2 international caps for Great Britain American Football, including scoring a touchdown against the USA. Dave also coaches and referees rugby, having retired from the game after playing for Oxford University and briefly, the London Irish Academy.

Dave currently works as a solicitor at Burges Salmon LLP, specialising in private equity and corporate finance.
